Our client envisioned a Maldivian spa-like atmosphere, emphasising natural textures and an organic feel throughout the property.
Working from the UK on a Las Vegas-based project presented several challenges, including remote collaboration with an unfamiliar local design and build team, navigating the intricacies of working in inches and dollars, and understanding Nevada’s specific regulations.
Additionally, fluctuating shipping costs and coordinating an installation team remotely added to the complexity. Despite these challenges, meticulous planning ensured everything was executed flawlessly.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, only three site visits were possible during the construction phase, demanding precision and accuracy in all our remote instructions and designs.
The ultimate reward came with an intensive eight-day installation trip to Las Vegas. This final phase saw our team working seamlessly with developers, installers, handymen, and stylists, fostering a strong team spirit and culminating in a beautifully cohesive and sophisticated result.
By improving the flow and nodding to its mid-century heritage, we turned this four-storey townhouse in Notting Hill into a sophisticated and laid-back home.
