Our founder and creative director, Hannah Wright studied Interior Design in London. She developed her passion for creativity, craftsmanship and design through her Masters in History of Art, from The University of Edinburgh, and a love of travel, allowing her to experience a rich tapestry of beautiful objects, furniture and art. Her deep appreciation for historical context and timeless design underpins our philosophy and guides our work.
Over the years, we've nurtured a network of trusted and respected suppliers, artisans and craftspeople, enabling us to source distinctive materials and furnishings and ensure the spaces we create are not only beautiful but also truly one of a kind.
Proudly female-run, Wilding & Wolfe is named after two pioneering women - Emily Wilding Davison, a pivotal suffragette, and Elsie de Wolfe, often recognised as the first female interior designer who famously claimed to have invented the profession.
Our wolf icon, Elsie, is a symbol of power, loyalty, wildness and teamwork - qualities that resonate with our studio.
Our approach combines intelligent design, technical expertise and a respect for the building's provenance and character. With over 19 years of experience, we have the capability and specialised knowledge to manage all aspects of the design process, effectively bridging the gap between architecture and interior design.
With a deep understanding of architectural principles, we collaborate closely with contractors to ensure meticulous attention to every detail and a smooth, efficient design process. This holistic approach results in spaces that are not only visually stunning but also harmoniously integrated with their surroundings and an authentic reflection of you.
